Erindale 8-9.30pm Tuesday - course starts 20/7
Kingston 6.15-7.45pm Wednesday - course starts 21/7
8-9.30pm Wednesdays - course starts 21/7

Drum & Dance Workshops with Sibo and Rachel Bangoura

Master drummer, Sibo Bangoura from Guinea, West Africa and incredible dancer, Rachel Bangoura, return to Canberra for a day of high energy drum and dance workshops.
Workshops to cater for all levels. Enrol in one, two or all three workshops!

12 - 1.30 Drumming (intermediate-advanced)
2 - 3.30 Dance (all levels)

Kate Gascoyne returns to Batemans Bay to run African drumming workshops catering for all levels. Experience the power and energy of West African drumming as you learn traditional rhythms on the dembe and dundun drums.
11.00am - 12.30pm Beginners-Intermediate
1.00pm - 2.30pm Intermediate-Advanced (or beginners who have attended the first session)
Venue: Batemans Bay Community Centre, 2 Museum Pl, Batemans Bay NSW
Cost: $30 per workshop or $50 for both.

African Dance Classes - 10-wk course commencing in October! |
Drum Effect welcomes Guinean master dancer, Mory Traore, to Canberra to run a 10-week African dance course commencing October 2010. Details (location, time, cost etc) will be announced shortly. Due to demand, this class will fill up quickly so please feel free to register your interest with Drum Effect now so that you are notified as soon as the class time is confirmed.
