Saturday 21 August 2010 Come and learn traditional rhythms and dances from Guinea, West Africa with two amazing teachers! Sibo Bangoura was born into a Grio family (musician family) in Guinea and started playing drums at a young age. He is now a dynamic master drummer who teaches djembe and dundun rhythms with patience, skill, and a great sense of humour!
Rachel Bangoura has a deep understanding of African dance. She has undertaken extensive West African dance study under master dancers both in Guinea and in Australia. She has a unique way of sharing her skills and enriching students with her knowledge of both Western and African cultures and dance.
